Joseph Goodfellow Nicholson was born on 16 July 1859.1 He was the son of Walter Wetherell Nicholson and Mary Goodfellow.1
He was recorded as living with his parents in the 1861 census at 112 Stocks Street, Cheetham Hill, Manchester. He was recorded as being just 2 years old.2
He was recorded as living with his parents, a servant and a nurse, and siblings Walter, Andrew, Fred, Harold and Annie in the 1871 census at Hereford Street, Sale, Cheshire. He was recorded as being aged 11.3 His occupation was recorded as being a scholar in the census.3
Joseph emigrated from England circa 1885. Joseph arrived at Canada circa 1885.
Joseph Goodfellow Nicholson married Isabel Fairhurst circa 1905 at Canada.1
Joseph died on 5 March 1909 at Toronto, Ontario, at age 49.1
