Christen Iversen Mostue

Christen Iversen Mostue was also known as Kristen Iversen Skodvin.³ He was likely born circa 1650 at Skodvin(?), Ringebu Parish, Innlandet, Norway.⁴ He may have been born circa 1650 at at Forset farm Gausdal Parish, Oppland, Norway.³ He was the son of Iver Olsen Forset and Sophie Christensdatter Forset.^1,2

He married Marte Svensdatter Vålen, daughter of Sven Stenersen Vålen and Anne Akselsdatter Melby, circa 1678. Christen and Marte lived circa 1680 at at Mostue Nedre farm Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway. Around circa 1680 the family must have moved to Stange Parish, Hedmark, as Christen became the owner of this farm around 1685.^4,3

On 19 August 1720 Christen Iversen Mostue and Marte Svensdatter Vålen on Monday, 19 August 1720 Christen and Marte transferred their share of Stange Parish, Hedmark, to their son Nils. at Stange Parish, Hedmark.

Christen died on 3 May 1733 at Stange Parish, Hedmark.³

His will was probated on 12 January 1734.⁴
