Erik Andersen Ottestad was likely born in 1755 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.2 He was the son of Anders Eriksen Ottestad and Kari Larsdatter Ottestad.1 Erik Andersen Ottestad was baptised on Sunday, 21 September 1755.2 He presumably lived with his parents at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark, in October 1771.3 He was confirmed on Sunday, 6 October 1771 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark.3
Erik Andersen Ottestad married Ingeborg Jensdatter Jemblie or Jemlie circa 1780.
He was recorded as head of household in the 1801 census with Ingeborg Jensdatter Jemblie or Jemlie as his spouse at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark.4
Erik died on 28 July 1828 at Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.1
