Jessie May Battle was born in 1887 at the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood.2 She was the daughter of Charles John Battle and Mary Taylor.1 She presumably lived with her parents at at Easey Street in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood in January 1891. Although the house number isn't specified, the house owner is the same as when they lived at number 135.3 She presumably lived with her parents at at 135 Easey Street in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood in 1896. This was a wooden house.4 She lived with her parents at at 137 Easey Street in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood in 1912.5 Jessie May Battle was a cutter in 1912.5

Jessie May Battle married William John Green in 1915.2

It was reported to family on Wednesday, 2 January 1918 that their brother Thomas had been seriously wounded in Belgium.6

Jessie died in 1959.1
