Hannah Tapley was born in 1836 at Rotterdam, Netherlands.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Tapley and Mary Morford.1
Hannah emigrated from Plymouth on 31 July 1838 on the "Rajasthan."2,1 After a voyage of after a voyage of 3 1/2 months Hannah arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia, on 16 November 1838.2,1
Hannah Tapley married John Sauerbier at St. Mary's on South Road on Tuesday, 17 April 1866 at Adelaide.3,1 Hannah Tapley witnessed her brother Richard Edward Tapley's burial on 9 June 1891 West Terrace Cemetery at Adelaide.4,5
