Emma was born on Wednesday, 2 April 1856 at Wolfe Island, Ontario.2,3 She was the daughter of Laurence John Coxall and Amelia Darby.1
Her father died 14 March 1857 at the age of 36. She was baptised at Holy Trinity Anglican on Wednesday, 17 March 1858 at Wolfe Island, Ontario. She was baptised on the same day as her older sister Elizabeth and her brother John.1,4
Emma Lucretia Coxall was recorded as a member of the household of Amelia Darby in the 1861 census at Wolfe Island, Ontario. Her age next birthday was recorded as being 6. Also living in the house were four of her siblings.5 Emma Lucretia Coxall was a witness at the wedding of George Gillespie and her sister Frances Amelia Coxall at Trinity Church on Tuesday, 2 December 1873 at Wolfe Island, Ontario. George and Frances went on to have nine known children together.6,7,8
Emma Lucretia Coxall married John George Corran on Friday, 26 May 1882 at Camden East, Ontario.3
Emma died on 18 January 1943 at Lindsay, Ontario, at age 86 of hypostatic pneumonia and senility.9 Her body was interred at Riverside Cemetery on 20 January 1943 at Lindsay, Ontario.9
