Frank Pickworth was born circa 1853 at Surfleet, Lincolnshire.1 He was the son of Francis Pickworth and Ellen Tyndall.1
He was recorded as living with his married sister Ida, her husband and a servant in the 1881 census at Irlam Road, Flixton, Lancashire. He was recorded as being 28 years old.1 His occupation was recorded as being a farmer in the census.1
