Robert Tennant Moore was born in 1886 at Brisbane Water, in Woy Woy, New South Wales.1 He was the son of James Moore and Fanny Tennant.2,3 Robert Tennant Moore was also known as Herbert or Herb.4

Robert Tennant Moore played a single game of football with South Melbourne in the Victoria Football League. in 1909.5

He married Ethel Jane Victoria Bell, daughter of William Bell and Sarah Zena Brown, at Methodist Church in Park Street on Wednesday, 7 December 1910 at South Melbourne..1 Robert and Ethel lived in 1922 at 249 Clarendon Street, in South Melbourne.6 Robert and Ethel lived in 1931 at the Melbourne suburb of Malvern East.6 Robert and Ethel lived at at 6 Kerferd Street in the Melbourne suburb of East Malvern.7

Robert died on 29 April 1945 at East Malvern.4

MOORE. -On April 29, at his home, 6 Kerferd street, East Malvern, Robert Tennant, beloved husband of Ethel Moore, loving father of Herbie (deceased), Jim, Carrie (Mrs. Nicholson), and Zena, loved father-in law of Nick (A.I.F.), and grandpa of Robert and Carolyn. -Peace.

MOORE.-On April 29. at his residence. 6 Kerferd street. East Malvern, Herb, dearly loved son of the late James and Fannv Moore, and brother-in-law of Mrs. C. McNally, of 62 Highett street. Richmond. -In the garden of memories we meet every day.
