William Peck was born on 11 February 1841 at Adelaide.1 He was the son of Joseph William Peck and Ann Darby.1
His mother died 11 December 1883 at the age of 71. William was aged 42 when this happened.
His father died 20 November 1886 at the age of 69. William was aged 45 when this happened. Joseph died almost at the time his nine month gaol sentance for sexual assault on a 12 year old girl, a crime he admitted..
William died on 13 January 1910 at Noarlunga, South Australia, at age 68.1 He was buried on 14 January 1910 at Bain's Cemetery, in Morphett Vale, South Australia.2
