Jane Nicholson was born circa 1863 at Liverpool.1 She was the daughter of Donald Nicholson and Elizabeth Ann Medhurst.1
Her mother died 6 March 1865 at the age of 28.
She was recorded as living with her father and stepmother, her father and step-mother's infant boy, and her siblings Donald, Alexander, William and Thomas in the 1871 census at 3 Edgar Terrace Hulton Street, Moss Side, Manchester. She was recorded as being 8 years old.1 Her occupation was recorded as being a scholar in the census.1 She was presumably living with his father and stepmother at Plumley, Cheshire, in June 1878.2 She was presumably living with his father and stepmother at Lower Peover, Cheshire, in December 1879.3
Jane may have died circa March 1880.4
Jane died before 1924.5
