Maria Ruth Wayte was born on 5 May 1832 at Ashby-de-la Zouch, Leicestershire.1,3 She was the daughter of Thomas Wayte and Hannah Sharpe.2,1 Maria Ruth Wayte was baptised on Monday, 6 August 1832 at Ashby-de-la Zouch, Leicestershire.3
She was recorded as living with her parents and siblings Edward, Emma and Mary in the 1841 census at Ashby-de-la Zouch, Leicestershire.4
She was recorded as living with her parents and a servant in the 1851 census. She was recorded as being 18 years old.1
She married Ebenezer Horatio Ault, son of Horatio Ault and Eliza (?), circa January 1861 at Ashby-de-la-Zouch Registration District, Leicestershire..5,6
Maria Ruth Wayte was recorded as the spouse of Ebenezer Horatio Ault in the 1861 census at South Cottages in Pound Street, Lyme Regis, Dorset. She was recorded as being 28. Also living in the house was a servant.7 Maria Ruth Wayte was a minister's wife.7
Maria Ruth Wayte was recorded as the spouse of Ebenezer Horatio Ault in the 1871 census at Mount Pleasant, Clavering, Essex. She was recorded as being 38. Also living in the house were three of their children and a servant.8
Maria Ruth Wayte was recorded as the spouse of Ebenezer Horatio Ault in the 1881 census at Seames Lane, Clavering, Essex. She was recorded as being 48 years old. Also living in the house were three of their children.9
