Henry Hill was born circa 1855 at Sheffield.1 He was the son of Joseph Hill and Ellen Turner.
He was recorded as living with his parents and brother Joseph in the 1861 census at 54 Well Meadow Street, Sheffield. He was recorded as being 6 years of age.1 Henry Hill was a silversmith in April 1871.2
He was recorded as living with his parents and brother and Joseph in the 1871 census at 6 Barraets Fold, Sheffield. He was recorded as being 16 years old.2
