Fanny Hopwood Jameson was born circa 1834 at Bolton, Lancashire.1 She was the daughter of James Jameson and Nancy Calderbank.1

She was recorded as living with her parents and siblings Betsy, Mary, Anne, John and James in the 1851 census at Barn Street, Bolton, Lancashire. She was recorded as being 17 years old.1 Her occupation was recorded as being a finisher in the census. She was most likely working in a cotton mill.1

She was recorded as living with her husband, her father and her sister and Betsy in the 1881 census at 4 Deansgate Road, Bolton, Lancashire. She was recorded as being 47 years old.3

She was recorded as head of household in the 1901 census at 94 Sidney Road, Southport, Lancashire. Her age was recorded as 67 years old, and she lived with her widowed sister Mary.4 Her occupation was recorded as being 'living on her own means' in the census.4
