Mary Bridget Nicholson

Mary Bridget Nicholson was born on 24 April 1918 at Sydney.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Henry Hosnell Nicholson and Mary Nolan McLennan.¹ Her common name was Molly.³

Mary Bridget Nicholson married Richard John Collins in 1945 at Lake Cargelligo, New South Wales.⁴ The Nicholson's were a hard-working family but like most people of their generation enjoyed a simple social life with a love of sports; especially tennis, cricket and anything to do with horses. Tennis and cricket were played at Glenwood and dances held in the woolshed and the "Big Room" at night.⁵ Mary lived in 1954 at Post Office, in Nymagee, New South Wales.⁶

Mary died on 2 June 2007 at Cobar, New South Wales, at age 89.⁶
