George Thomas Trapnell was born in 1838 at Creech St. Michael, Somerset.1 He was a butcher.1 He In the early 1880's the family emigrated to the United States of America . George and his son Frederick went out first (in 1881) and Maria with their seven children sailed from Bristol and arrived in New York on board S.S. Warwick on 8th August 1883. George Thomas Trapnell and Maria Oaten married in 1860.1

George Thomas Trapnell married Maria Oaten, daughter of Frederick Oaten and Dinah Bradbeer, at St. Jude's Parish Church on Monday, 23 January 1860 at Bristol.1

George emigrated from Bristol.1 George arrived at U.S.A.1


George died on 20 November 1911 at Red Oak, Iowa.1
