Richard Talbot Westbrook was born on 1 November 1824.1 He was the son of Dr. James Henry Westbrook and Elizabeth Chapel. He presumably lived with his parents at Collins Street, in Hobart, in 1826.2 He presumably lived with his parents at the corner of Murray and Collins streets, in Hobart, in January 1829. in January 1829 he lived on or near Hobart, presumably with his wife and five children.3
Richard Talbot Westbrook married Louisa Sophia Mason on Tuesday, 20 December 1853 at Hobart. They were 29 and 19 respectively.4
Richard died on 11 August 1900 at age 75.1
