Joshua Henry Westbrook was born on 12 April 1823 at Hobart.1 He was the son of Dr. James Henry Westbrook and Elizabeth Chapel. Joshua Henry Westbrook was christened on 15 April 1823. He presumably lived with his parents at Collins Street, in Hobart, in 1826.2 He presumably lived with his parents at the corner of Murray and Collins streets, in Hobart, in January 1829. in January 1829 he lived on or near Hobart, presumably with his wife and five children.3
Joshua Henry Westbrook married Elizabeth Ann Norman on Friday, 18 January 1856 at Sorrell, Tasmania. They were 32 and 28 respectively.
Joshua died on 12 December 1896 at age 73.1
