John Daryl Canning Tanner and Elizabeth Louise Armstrong met when they were set up on a blind date by his schoolfriend Michael Hill, and her cousin Barabara Nicholson.2
He married Elizabeth Louise Armstrong, daughter of James Victor Goldsmith Armstrong and Jeanne Marie Louise Augusta Nicholson, circa 1957.
John died in August 2022.1
